Install DPE as an app

DPE is an installable Progressive Web App. Installed, it opens in its own window, gets its own icon on your desktop, dock, or home screen, and loses the browser chrome around it, so it feels like a real application rather than a tab you have to go find.

• Desktop Chrome/Edge: use the install icon in the address bar, or the Install DPE as an app button on the sign-in screen and in the terminal's top bar.
• Android: the browser will offer to add DPE to your home screen; accept it and it behaves like any other installed app.
• iOS/iPadOS Safari: use Share → Add to Home Screen. Safari does not support the automatic install prompt other browsers do, but the result is the same: a real home-screen icon, no address bar.

Installed or not, the workspace behaves identically: the same container, the same tmux session, the same persistence. The install step only changes how you reach it, and offline it will tell you plainly that it is offline instead of showing a broken blank page, since a terminal without a live connection to its container genuinely has nothing to show.
